Bad Bob Badstreet stood in his office on the 69th floor of the newly built and almost opened BEII. He didnt know what to expect. He had just moved to the city to assume command of the huge business 's newest Coorporate Headquarters. He knew noone here to speak off and knew he could only rely so far on the few members of his own family who would assume their positions in the company apon their arrival.

Many people over the years took a dislike to the Badstreet family. They were feared and loathed in certain parts of the world and had enimes more numerous then you could mention. He stood looking out of the window with his hands folded behind his back smoking a cuban cigar when there was a soft knock on the door.

Bob Badstreet
Come in!

He said as he continued looking out over the new city. The door opened and in walked ......

Catherine walked in with a stack of files as she looked at her boss.  she had moved with him, when he wanted to expand. 

{Catherine} Here you are, Bobby, all the files you were asking for... Plus some extras I thought you may want later. 

She looked at him as they had always been close friends.  Bobby had hired her not just as a favor, but he was in dire need of someone with computer and business skills and she was a harvard grad student so he knew he went right with hiring her.

Bob turned to see his ever faithful and  good friend Catherine. The best secretary hed evr had. He saw her with all the files an quickly walked over  setting his cigar in theashtray and  taking ahold of the huge stack of file folders as he took them from her and set them on his desk. 

Bobby 
Thank you Catherine! As always very prompt and as usual over and above your job.

He smiled at her. 

Bobby 
So what do you think of the new building?  Imean it could easily be one of the most extravagent BEII's ever constructed. 

He was proud of it, like a father of his new born baby. He did feel guilty  dragging her along with  them, although he could hardley think of life at BEII without her. He picked up his cigar and took a puff then put it back down.while he waited for her answer

Catherine looked at him as she smiled.  She had looked around the place when it was first finished and she was enjoying it very much.. 

{Catherine} I think it is the best thus far. 

She said as she smiled looking at him as she was thinking about it.  She didn't mind moving witht hem, she enjoyed working for him.

He sat down at his desk  as he began lookin through the paperwork. Catherine taking a seat on the other side of his desk. 

Bobby Badstreet 
I think when we finally open this bad boy, I'm going to trow a huge  dinner party and invite anyone who wishes to come. That we  we can get to know our new neighboors. What do you think Catherine? 

He always asked her opinion on things. He knew she was highly intellegent and  new what she was talkingabout. He could always depend on herr to give her input and  often times took advice from her. She had his utmost respect . She was held in high esteem in the company. Wich was why she was one of the very few Seretarys brought to the new Headquarters.

She thought about it a moment.. She knew that the place was big, but she didn't think it was big enough to hold a party.. 

{Catherine} I think a party is a great idea, but maybe we should hold it some place else,, some place that can handle a large party, knowing how you Badstreets do everything... I'm sure this won't just be a small little party. 

She said honestly as she looked at him, as she waited to see what he had to say, what he thought about her idea..

Bob thought about it. BEII was huge. And this one had a banquet hall. He wasnt sure where she was coming from with this until he saw the look of concern flash over her face. Right, security couldnt be tight enough here. Especially after  a couple incidents at previous BEII's.

Bobby 
Alright then Catherine. It falls on your shoulders to find  a place "big enough" for a Badstreet party! 

He looked into her eyes and she understood that he knew why she said what she had said. Neither one of them wanted to  verbalize the fact that it was a prime candidate for a terrorist atack. Both local and worldwide. She shakes her head in agreement. 

Bobby 
Im giving Logan a call and  bringing his security team in. Just to avoid any  posible problems. 

She smiled cause she knew if you were in trouble and you could find them. You could hire Logans  Team! 

Bobby 
Rulesarent  goingto be put into place  until after  the building opens. So if you wan to take an early lunch and maybe the afternoon off Catherine, feel free. You certainally deserve it.

{Catherine} I'll give you a list of places by the end of the day, and don't worry I dont' need to take the day off, 

She smiled as she loved her job, and didn' mind when she worked late or anything. She didn't have anyone to go home too, so there were no stress about her long and late hours.

dress to wear  and  if  her purse matches her shoes ok  before some young gentleman came to call on her. Not are files aA to Z  all in proper order and what will the quarterly reports reveal about our profitt/ loss ratio

I couldnt run things  proficiently without you. I'll be the first to admit it. But you should take some time and pamper and enjoy yourself Catherine!

She smiled softly as she looked at him , listening to him as he was speaking, not wanting her to give up so much of her life for his company, but she didnt' mind, she loved it here, and she did get out when she needed too. 

{Catherine} First off, my purse does match my shoes. and I always dress to impress, no matter where I go. 

She said as she was one who cared about what she looked like and always worked hard to make sure she was stunning from morning to night, it was just how she was. 

{Catherine} Don't worry Bobby, if I need a break I'll let you know, but right now, I'm happy being here to help you. 

She said honestly as she looked at him.

Bob looked at her flustered he hadnt won an arguement with her since the day she arrived. He knew  it was useless so he gave up. 

Bobby 
Alright Catherine, if you dont break for lunch then Im not going to either.  But Im going to be here late tonight. 

He thought of his own preperations he had to do. Things noone could help him with a million phone calls  and a few  hundred emails .he didnt want her wasteing her night, but part of him was hoping for her company. Secretly  she was  what made things there  better. He wanted her to be the first person he saw in the morning on his arrival and the last person to say goodnight to him before they left. The truth was,  she made things tolerable.

She nodded and smiled as that was fine with her she had a lot of things to do herself, Work related and then of course now party related as she knew she was up for the task, it would be a huge event.. 

{Catherine} its okay I'm a big girl I can handle staying up past my bed time. 

She teased as she went heading ot her desk to start to work, so she could take a big chunk out of tasks she had to do, she finished up some paper work while at the same time , making calls on the party to get things booked and planned, knowing that she was going to need to talk with people and planners to make it all so perfect..
