She looked at him.

Ashlynn: I tried to get the house keeper to call a doctor for him, but she wouldn't do it, and when I called i wasn't allowed since i have no rights over him.

She said honestly.

Ashlynn: And he won't stay in the house, he said they aren't nice to him , i tried to get him to go, but I'm not allowed in the house.

She said honestly once again as she looked at him thinking about it, a bit upset how Edward is treated by the staff when he isn't home....

She was a bit shocked as she looked at him but nodded as she followed.

Ashlynn: Yes sir.

She said as she went with him....

She sat there holding Edward in her arms smiling a bit when he rested his head on her chest as she held him close kissing his forehead.

Ashlynn: You'll be feeling better in no time....

She nodded as she looked at him as she got out, Edward reached for her again as Henry looked at Ashlynn as she nodded taking the boy as she carried him in as Henry opened the door, they had a room waiting for them as they went in, she put him on the bed in there.

Ashlynn: Okay you'll be fine we're both right here..

She said still holding his hand as she stood there next to him. 

She looked at him thinking about it.

Ashlynn: I don't mind staying, if you don't mind me not working until he's able to go home.

She said honestly as she didn't want to really leave him here alone either....

She nodded smiling warmly as she didn't mind.. She sat there while Henry filled everything out, letting them know she would be staying... Henry had to go home and check on the girls, and take care of the staff problem at the house.. Ashlynn sat in the chair next to Edwards bed as she watched him sleep... She was quiet when nurses came into check on him, as she had falle asleep in the chair after a bit, when morning came Edward was feeling a lot better and when Henry came in, he was told he would be able to go home...

Ashlynn: I'm glad you're feeling better , sweety.

She said as she helped him get dressed, as Henry was signing him out.

She saw Edward light up when he saw that as she was a bit confused but smiled warmly as she helped Edward into the car as she slid in next to him, and Henry next to her, as they headed back to the farm.  Once back he helped her out as he then helped Edward out , carrying his son inside as she followed when she ws told too....

Ashlynn looked at him a bit confused but smiled warmly.

Ashlynn: You don't have to go out of your way for me.

She said as she didn't expect anything for caring for Edward....

Ashlynn nodded as she looked at him.  She stepped out in the hall so he could have some time with his son alone, as she knew he was glad to have his boy back home.  She waited out there for him, so she could get home after and get some rest for work in the morning....

It made her feel good to know that he trusted her to look after his children as she was standing there thinking about it.  She then nodded her head after a moment as she looked at him.

Ashlynn: Thank you...

She smiled when he said that as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn: Alright, thank you.

She looked around as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn: I like it like this, it feels cozy.

She said smiling warmly as she was thinking about it.

She nodded as she looked at him as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn: You're welcome.  I'm glad that I can help, Edward is a sweet boy.

She thought about it as she shook her head.

Ashlynn: I'll go and help, if you don't mind.

She she wasn't too tired yet....

She nodded smiling warmly as they went walking down to the barn.  She showed him where the feed and things where as she went checking each of the horses , showing him how she cleaned them each out, spent a bit of time with the horses giving them treats before feeding them and bedding them for the night.

Ashlynn: When it's nice in the morning i let them out to roam a bit, feed on grass, and then exercise them.

She said as she knew it was important they were well taking care of.

Ashlynn: I brush them daily and make sure they are bathed weakly when weather premits....

She heard what he said as she was thinking about it, knowing the horses would like that.

Ashlynn: Nice....

She smiled soflty looking at his horse.

Ashlynn: Very well, i got it stiched in time, vet said there won't even be a scar once it's fully healed.

She said remembring the large cut he had on his leg when he came in.....

She smiled softly as she wasn't worried when she saw that, she had seen those kind of injuries before so knew how to take care of it.

Ashlynn: I'm glad that he turned out alright.

She said as she finished what needed to be done as she left the barn with him.

Ashlynn: I'm glad Edward is alright as well.

She walked with him a bit as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn: Alright, sounds good.

She said as she stopped by her truck, as she was planning on heading home for the night, even though she had been given a room, she didn't need it tonight and well all her clothes were at her place so it would make it easier.....

She looked up at him as she smiled warmly nodding her head.

Ashlynn: I'll be here... Have a good night.

Ashlynn drove home as she was glad everything was good now at her work, she had been worried about Edward and was now pleased he would be alright.  She made it home as she got out of her truck and then headed inside.  She opened the door as she kicked her shoes off closing it behind her, she made her way upstairs to clean up and head to bed, so she could get to work in the morning.....

Ashlynn frowned hearing that as she nodded letting them bring the children in as she was looking at him.

Ashlynn: Of course they can, please let me know what is happening, call me as soon as you can.

She said knowing that her place was to stay with the children knowing that they were needing her right now.

She frowned hearing that as she was really worried she wanted to go to the hospital as she felt really upset, but knew that she was needed right here now the kids needed her as she felt kind of torn a feeling she wasn't use too.

Ashlynn: I hope he'll be alright, call me with any updates, please, Charles.

She asked almost feeling like crying as she was trying to keep herself calm.

She looked down at Edward as she smiled a bit nodding her head.

Ashlynn: You're right of course.

She hugged Edward as she then helped him getting him in bed.

Ashlynn: You get some rest sweety.

She said as she sat with him until she fell asleep.....

It was about three in the morning when he called but Ashlynn was still up, she snuck out of the room with Edward as she went getting the phone.

Ashlynn: Hey.

She said smiling when she heard his voice... She was glad to hear his voice, it really put her at ease as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn: The children are asleep right now.

She nearly felt tears as she was so happy to hear his voice as she heard what he asked.

Ashlynn: No i was awake was hoping to hear on how you were doing..

She thought about it as she wasn't all that surprised.

Ashlynn: The children can stay here, and you can stay here if you need to when you get out.

She said knowing that she had the room.

Ashlynn: I can bring the children to see you tomorrow, once they wake up and you're feeling up to it..

She thought about it.

Ashlynn: I wished too, i'll check things out later to see if there is a chance the puppy got out

She siad as she was thinking about it,

Ashlynn: You just take care of yourself, so you can get better and come home .

She smiled when she heard him say that, even though it shocked her she was happy hearing him say that.

Ashlynn: I love you, too.

She said honestly after a moment. .

She smiled warmly.

Ashlynn You too, Henry.

She said as she hung up the phone, she then went getting dressed locking the door before she left as she made the short walk to the farm house as she looked around a bit, she heard a puppy whinning smiling as she dug a bit smiling finding the puppy.

Ashlynn: Aren't you a lucky thing.

She said as she walked him back to her place getting back inside , cleaning him up, making sure he was fine before bringing him to Edward and putting him on the bed to sleep.

She looked at him nodding as she smiled warmly.

Ashlynn: I did, darling. .

She smiled softly as she sat there with him a bit, she got him resettled into bed then went checking on Mary and Elisabeth seeing they were both asleep.  She then went checking making sure everything was set before she went to lay down for a bit.

When morning came she had breakfast made as the children were eating, she told them that there father was okay and that they would be able to see him today... They were happy about that... Ashlynn got everything cleaned up helped Edward get ready as soon as they got okay they went to the hospital to see Henry who looked happy and was sitting up in bed.

Ashlynn: You had a lot of people very worried about you.

She said watching as Edward went to his father carefully telling him about the puppy. .

She smiled warmly as she looked at him as she walked over to him a bit as she sat on the bed next to him.

Ashlynn: You're welcome..

She smiled warmly as she looked at him.

Ashlynn: The kids are fine, no bad dreams, Edward was so happy to have the puppy back, and happy to know that you were alright, he is fine. .

She looked at him when he said that.

Ashlynn: I"m glad i could be here for you all..

She kissed him back as she looked at him smiling softly.

Ashlynn: I love you, too.

She said as she sat there next to him.  She was glad that he was alright, even happier when the doctor came in saying he was free to go today, as everything was sounding good in all his tests.

Ashlynn: I'm glad you're alright.

She said after a moment as she helped everyone into her truck, glad she bought a new one with a backseat so there was plenty of room..

She nodded as she didn't mind going, she went to the mall that he was wanting as she pulled into a spot, she then got out, helping everyone out, as she locked the truck up and then followed them in...

She looked at him as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn: I don't have any plans.

She smiled warmly.

Ashlynn: I need to just stop and pick up my dress for the ball tomorrow.

She said as hse had been invited to a ball for police offiercers and past ones... She had oredered her dress weeks ago and just needed to pick it up...

She shrugged a bit as she iddn't usually like playing dress up but Destiny talked her into it.

Ashlynn: Not my thing but it is for a good cause.

She laugheed softly when he said that as she shook her head thinking about it.

Ashlynn: Nope, he won't have to bail you out, and if you feel up to you, you're more than welcome to come as my date...

She nodded as she looked at him as she was thinking about it.

Ashlynn :If its too soon or you don't feel up to it, you don't have to go.

She nodded as she smiled warmly as she was thinking about it

Ashlynn: Alright, well I have to go pick up my dress, it is formal, you can get fitted if you like, they can be super quick, and i'm sure you can get something in time.

She said as she smiled warmly.

She nodded as they went so they could get phones and then did a few other errands as they went getting what they needed for tomorrow finally before then heading back out to the truck and then heading to Ashlynn's where everyone was going to be staying for now.

She kissed him back as she looked up at him.

Ashlynn: I'm just glad i could help.

She said honestly..

She had been sitting letting her hair down as she heard him as she got up.  She smiled warmly as she took him across the hall to the other spare room that she had.

Ashlynn: I hope this will be alright.

She siad as he walked in looking around a bit, it was a big room a nice size bed and a nice view out the large windows...
