He nodded knowing she was right.

"We don't want to upset him. I like my head attached...both of them."

She laughed a bit as she was thinking about it, he opened the door as she got into the car , as soon as they were in they were talking a bit on the way home.

||Cassidy Granger||- I don't have classes all day tomorrow, so I will be in the office around 1. 

She said when he asked about tomorrow..

He listened to her then nodded.

"We don't have anything on the books for court tomorrow so I'll be in the office. How about if we grab lunch tomorrow before you come in?"

She nodded her head not even needing to think about it as she smiled at him.  

||Cassidy Granger||- Alright, where do you want to meet for lunch?

She asked after a moment as she was thinking about it, and lookin forward to it..

He thought about it then looked at her.

"How about that new place that just opened across the street from the office?"

She thought about it as that was fine with her, she nodded her head after a moment. They pulled up at her place as he got out opening the door for her, as she got out looking at him.

||Cassidy Granger||- Thank you again, I'll see you tomorrow.

She smiled as she looked up at him...

He walked her to the door.

"Thank you for tonight. I'm glad I had someone to share it with."

He lowered his head toward hers.

"May I?"

She looked up at him as she nodded her head, giving him permission.  When he leaned in for the kiss she kissed him back.  They kissed a moment as she then looked up at him.

||Cassidy Granger||- Goodnight, Tristan.

She said with a smile as she then went inside her apartment to get ready for bed..

He smiled as he drove back to his old apartment. It was going to be his last night there. He would pack his things before he went to bed and them move them the next morning before work. He definitely was not going to miss this place.

The next day went pretty smoothly, Cassidy only had a couple morning classes and then was getting herself ready to meet Tristan for lunch.  She pulled into the place as she smiled seeing him leaning against his car waiting for her.

||Cassidy Granger||- Hey.

She smiled walking over to him.

He walked over to her and leaned down.

"May I?"

He waited for her to give permission before kissing her softly.

"Hungry?"

She kissed him back as she then smiled hearing him ask if she was hungry as she nodded her head.  She had skipped breakfast to rush to class this morning.

||Cassidy Granger||- Starving.

She smiled as they walked into the place together, looking around a bit as they were taking it in..

He looked around the place. It was different.

"So this is like the food court at the mall, but not connected to a mall. Different...kinda."

He counted at least ten different places to get food from that he could see just from the door.

"Any clue what you want?"

She looked around a bit as she was checking things out, as it did look pretty neat.  She spotted a few that would probably not take a long time as she knew they both had to work.

||Cassidy Granger||- There are a few that look like they would be rather quick.  Depends if you're okay with a sandwhich type thing or not.

She said as she was checking things out..

He looked around searching for something he would be able to eat. He found a place that had soups and salads.

"I'm going to grab some tomato soup and a garden salad. Maybe a donut for desert."

Cassidy looked around as she was debating on what she would try.  She saw a spot that had homemade chips and really good looking sandwhiches.  They went getting what they wanted as she sat down.

||Cassidy Granger||- This is neat, lots of variety so don't have to have the same style foods all the time.

She smiled as she was thinking about it...

He looked at his food frowning a little.

"I'm just hoping that this doesn't make me sick. There's so much meat around here. Cross contamination is very possible here."

She thought about it a moment as she didn't feel it would be an issue, most food places were smart enough to avoid stuff like that due to all the law suite risks.

||Cassidy Granger|| I don't think that will be an issue really.  Most places are smart enough in this day in age.

She said as she was thinking about it...

He hoped she was right. He had had problems before in restaurants.

""Just in case you are wondering...I can't eat meat. It's not that I don't want to. I truly can't. It makes me really sick."

She had actually noticed that awhile ago when it came to him, as she had always seen when he was eating at the office, or snacking it was always food that had no meat, or wasn't meat based in anyway.

||Cassidy Granger||- I've noticed.

She said as she smiled warmly as she wasn't bothered by it....

He looked over at her sandwich.

"You don't know how bad I want a bite of that sandwich of yours right now. I just don't want to spend the rest of the day in the emergency room."

She looked at him as she was thinking about it, as she knew he did have some options if he did want to cure that.

||Cassidy Granger||- You know, our family knows someone who could take care of that for you.  Heal you so you wouldn't have that issue.

She said as she knew her family didn't always talk about it, but to a few they did.  She figured they would be alright with her telling him...

He shook his head.

"This is something I'm used to. I get the occasional desire for meat, but I just push it away. I'm fine with my diet being what it is. Thank you though."

She nodded as she was thinking about it, being around someone who doesn't eat meat wasn't anything new to her.  A lot of her aunts didn't eat meat either, all for different reasons, but it wasn't something that surprised her or anything.

||Cassidy Granger||- All right, but if you ever change your mind, let me know.

She smiled as she was thinking about it as they were eating a bit.

||Cassidy Granger||- Not sure if dad has let the office know yet, but he will be leaving for a week.  It's his and mom's wedding anniversary  next week, and they are wanting to go away for a week.

She said as she was thinking about it as she was actually excited for them to be going away..

He nodded his head.

"He mentioned something yesterday about it. I think he said his brother was going to handle things in court and asked for us to help get him up to speed on everything."

She had been informed a bit of that as well as she smiled thinking about it.  She liked uncle Ethan as he was more laid back, and not so serious.

||Cassidy Granger||- Yep, I have actually notes on a flash drive for him.  Dad is worried that Ethan may goof off a bit.

She laughed a bit as she was thinking about it..

He looked at her and grinned.

"So he's the fun brother? This could be a fun week."

She laughed a bit when he said that as she was thinking about it, she knew Uncle Ethan pretty good as he was someone who was around a lot, even outside of work.

||Cassidy Granger||- well he for sure is less scary when he's upset.

She said laughing a it as she was thinking about it...

He was looking forward to meeting her uncle and working with him.

"Working with someone different will be good experience for us both."

She smiled as she agreed thinking about it.  They sat their eating as lunch went well and everything was good, they then started to head next door to get to work.. Which they were told what Cassidy had already said to Tristan.  Ethan introduced himself to everyone as she smiled happy to work with her uncle a bit.

||Cassidy Granger||- Where is Aunt Sarah?

She asked after a bit as she hadn't seen her today and usually when Reese needed time off, Sarah stepped in to help Ethan with the court work load...

She heard what he said as she smiled a bit nodding her head, a bit bummed that she wouldn't here here right away.

||Cassidy Granger||- Ah, nice.

She said after a moment...

She thought about it a moment as she spoke up.

||Cassidy Granger||- Actually, let me call Sienna, she's try to make a few bucks doing deliveries.  

She said as she helped her sister out whenever she could.  She saw him nod as they made a list of things to get as she then called Sienna.

||Cassidy Granger||- It will also let me kind of keep an eye on her while mom and dad are gone too.

She said looking at Tristan as she was thinking about it as she started to call her so she could do the snack run...

Tristan looked at the list then added what he would like. He then watched her call her sister about the order.

"You need my credit card to pay?"

She shook her head as she was shaking her as she knew that it was covered.  She got everything for everyone else and then talked to her sister a bit before she went hanging up smiling.

||Cassidy Granger||- All good to go.

She smiled as she was thinking about it..

He looked at her and grinned.

"With your parents gone, we may be able to find time to have more pajama parties."

She laughed softly as she looked at him amused but nodded her head as she didn't think it would be a problem.

||Cassidy Granger||- Sounds like fun to me.

She smiled warmly as she looked at him..

He leaned toward her and whispered in her ear.

"How about tonight? I have plenty of movies we haven't watched together yet."

She thought about it a moment as she nodded her head not seeing a reason why she couldn't as she smiled up at him.

||Cassidy Granger||- I'm in.

She smiled as she was thinking about it ..

He kissed her cheek and smiled.

"I'll pick you up an hour after we finish here for the night."

She nodded and smiled as she was thinking about it.  She was happy as she was thinking about it, and was looking forward to it.

||Cassidy Granger||- Alright.

She said as they went back to work, after a little bit Sienna showed up with the snack foods and drinks for everyone, as the sisters talked a moment before she then took her leave, while Cassidy went back to work ..
