Braelynn: Okay.
She said as she didn't mind, she often kept to herself so she knew she wouldn't be a bother to the two of them while they were catching up. She would just work on getting caught up on the assignments she missed while she was out.

She smiled as she turned watching him go. She went back to work on her computer as she was wanting to at least have stuff to turn in for class tomorrow. They all have been real patient with her on all this. She had it pretty good now, her father was locked away for good, she even got paid from the state as a lawyer felt they were responsible for her not getting help sooner so she was paid really well as they didn't even fight it. She knew she didn't have to pay Jimmy to stay here, but she was giving him a bit of money to put towards there daily needs. So she felt like she was contributing to being here , which made her feel good.

"Just roommates? How is that working out for you?"

"Just roommates. She is my friend. She's been through a lot and we've been there for each other when one of us needed someone to lean on and talk to. It's not like my best friend was here, you know."
He looked at Braelynn and winked.
"I enjoy having her around. She makes the house less lonely."

She teased as she did keep the place really clean for him. She didn't mind though, she liked doing it as it kept her mind busy when she wasn't having to do school stuff and he wasn't here.

"I saw Kenzlie the other day."
Jimmy tensed up just hearing the name.
"She's married now and knocked up."
Jimmy swallowed the food in his mouth.
"I feel sorry for the sucker who got stuck with her."
Danny saw the look on his friend's face and wished he hadn't brought her name up.
"What she did to you was wrong, Jimmy."
Jimmy got up and scraped the food from his plate into the disposal. He was no longer hungry.
"I don't want to talk about it, Danny. It isn't a time I like to remember."
Kenzlie had almost ruined his life. She had ruined his reputation to the point his father had to pull him from school and enroll him in a private school in another town. Danny had been the only friend to stick by him during the trial and afterwards.
"I'm going to go see if Braelynn wants to join us for a movie."
He went upstairs and knocked on her door. His mind was still swirling with the memories of what had happened to him.

He sighed as he thought about it.
"When they found out just how serious the two of us were, they threatened to pull her from school and send her to an all girls private school. She told them..."
He looked down at his hands.
"She told them that I raped her. I was arrested and charged. Went to trial, found guilty and spent a few months in jail. Guess she felt guilty for it because she confessed to the police without her parents knowing. I got a new trial and was set free. When I went back to school, things were really rough. Dad pulled me from that school and we moved to another town. I started boxing then. A lot of the anger you see in the ring comes from what happened with Kenzlie."

She was glad that he was able to find an out let through boxing, knowing that it really did help him out a lot. He was also able to get his life back here and was able to start over .

He ignored the looks he kept getting from Danny during the movie.
Ignoring Braelynn was harder. She was setting so close to him. He wanted to reach out and touch her, but he didn't want to scare her away.
