He nodded as she laughed 

Serneity: Thats my name. 

She chuckled a bt. 

Serneity: I can't legally leave her here, with out him giving me the okay, but i can hold onto her just give me a call when he gets here so we can fix all this. 

She said as she didn't know either of them and she would get in trouble if she did.

He went to the kitchen and got the dogs meds off the counter.

Josh: She has arthritis. 

He kneelled down to pet the poodle.

Josh: You be a good girl, Serenity. Your daddy will be back in a few hours.

Chris's plane had gotten in early and headed straight to his brother's house. He pulled up behind the cop car and frowned.

Serenity: I found her wandering the streets, then picked her up... She's been my little helper for a bit before i could find out where you were... She scared a couple of crack dealers away from the car . 

She laughed remembering when she started barking they started running

She said as she started to leave but the dog ran after her following her as Sernity laughed.

She said as she petted the dog, who was still wanting to go with her.

He grabbed Serenity's collar to hold her so the other Serenity could leave. Unfortunately as soon as she opened the car door, the dog slipped out of her collar and took off into the car.

Serenity: I've had her all day, I think i can handle her.. Just give me an hour or so and i'll be back with her.. I'm off work then anyways. 

She said as she saw him nod as she got in as the dog jumped right in the back where she belonged and they were taking off, after a little bit Serenity returned, changed out of her work clothes and into some casual clothes she got out of her car and Serenity followed as they knocked back on the door as when it opened the dog was sitting there looking up at her master happily..

She smiled watching laughing a bit when she said thier name again as it was pretty amusing... She took a sip of her water but was about to say something when her pager went off she looked at it quick. 

Serenity: Sorry gotta go.. 

She said as she jumped up it was an emergency call from the police station she rushed out the door, as she got onthe phone getting the details as she took her gun from the glove box, as a robbery was in progress... She was the first on the scene being so close she got her gun out as she got out looking around, looking for signs of trouble.. The man came running out, one hand was holding the cash he stole and the other was a gun. 

Serenity: Freeze.. 

She yelled out as she held her gun out but the man shot, she was hit once in the midsection, as she fired back before falling down, but she watched as the other man went down as well... She collasped as she heard other sirens coming.. .

Joe had been caught in the middle. He had been at the bank getting money out of his account to pay for Courtney's Christmas gift. The guy came in while he was there. He was grabbed and drug out as a hostage being made to carry the bag while the guy had the gun.

He heard the shots and saw the cop go down. He felt the pain tear through his own body and felt the robber push him away as he ran off.

Serenity hadn't shot Joe, it had been the gun men wanting to dump the load as he ran off Serenity watched him go as she shot again this time getting the gun man in the ass.....As he went down.. she moved a bit seeing the innocent man there holding his leg as she was glad it wasn't too serious as she groaned a bit laying back on the cold ground. .

Even though he was cuffed they still took him to the hospital where Sereinity was at... After a little bit she was coming too, the cops asked her some questions as she told them that the man she shot in the ass was the one who shot her, and that Joe had been a victim, and he was innocent.. Things were cleared up as they let her rest after a bit and released him , and cleared his charges.. Serenity laid there in the bed with her eyes closed..

Chris got a call from Joe telling him some cop that knows him was shot and in the hospital. He headed there leaving Serenity at home. He stopped and saw his brother who was being kept over night for observation. He then went to find Serenity.
